Here at Amethyst Heart Wellness Spa our main goal is to keep you safe! How are we doing that?

Infectious Disease: Infectious diseases are illnesses caused by germs (such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi) that enter the body, multiply, and can cause an infection. Some infectious diseases are contagious (or communicable), meaning they are capable of spreading from one person to another. (CDC, 2023)

Masks: Clients may choose to wear a mask for the duration of their session, however we are no longer requiring it. If a client chooses to wear a mask, our therapists will as well. Please let us know if you'd like a single use paper mask for your session!

Hand Washing: Clients are asked to wash and sanitize their hands before beginning the session. Therapists also wash their hands before and after every client. Hand sanitizer is available for use in every room and common area.

Sanitization: The lobby and every room is thoroughly sanitized after every client. The massage tables are completely stripped down and replaced with freshly sanitized sheets, face cradle covers, and blankets after every appointment. 

Testing: Our therapists are tested for COVID-19 when possibly showing any symptoms.  

Symptoms: We ask any client that is showing symptoms of any communicable disease, or that has been exposed, to reschedule their appointment. Appointments will be able to be rescheduled after 14 days. If a client tests positive for COVID-19 appointments will only be rescheduled at least 21 days after the positive test AND with a negative test result. Any other infectious diseases will also be given the proper precautions based on CDC guidance. You will not be penalized for same-day cancellations if a communicable disease is used as the reason.
